This is so wonderful thanks!!
I hate it when SP turns into an agatha Christie Novel-lots of pages and too
I agree -SP should be easy to access and to share.
Great job thanks!!!!!
I love your simple and easily understood explanation. Thank you Don. My
best regard from Indonesia
Why is important that a business strategy “fits “with the analysis of its
internal and external environments? example?hope somebody can help?thanks
Thank you .
Don- I’m still confused about the clear distinction between tactics and
strategy. Looks like your model has tactics and strategies mixed together.
Don- thank you very much!
Hi , thanks for the video ; it was really helpful cuz I was able to get a
structure for course project.
I wanted to get your input for it actually. I was looking to present an
outline for a strategic plan. I had to break down the main objectives
(strategic objectives) into corporate, business level and departmental
goals and finish it off with a SWOT. I thought the best way to go about
this is to present the company history (mission & vision) , where we are
now and where would like to be? what objectives are set to fill in those
gaps and how they translated into business level/corporate level. etc.
conclusion with SWOT.
Do you think this would be adequate?
Anyone else is free to give in their input – open to all ideas put forward.
Thanks once again!
Dear Don, thank you so much for providing us with these two templates. I
have a suggestion to share with you. Is there any possibility to work on
your templates to transform them to an application on the iPad so we will
be able to review our strategic plan when needed. Thank you again :)
Thank you so much! you made our lives so easy with this template 🙂 Good
Job on this!
Excellent. EXCELLENT! Thank you. I am going to do one of these for the
non-profit I chair and one for my own life. Thanks again.
Hello Don, thanks for the efforts. I have a question that is confusing me,
and here it goes, apologize it is a little bit long but it’s killing me.I
work in a department, and the board members use and responsible for the
Strategic Planning process were they use the SWOT tool for environmental
analysis and then, the board members asks us in a group meeting to do the
SWOT analysis for our department weakness, strengthes… ect…. now after
we finish the SWOT, the board members identify gaps and create
organizational strategic objectives and then they create the strategy map
for the company and then cascade the identifed strategic objective to our
department and inform us that we have to achieve this strategic objectives.
Now, my question is, since we have already used the SWOT in the beginning,
what do we need to do (as a department) or what kind of tool do we use to
identify how to achieve the strategic objectives that the board members
have identified from our SWOT analysis, do we use the SWOT again? thanks
