Dave does a great job of talking about good ideas in how to create a great
IT strategy. He’s a good talker and and believes that the key to a good IT
department is based on having a great strategy… – Dr. Jim Anderson Blue

  2. Dave was a colleague at Gartner. He is one of the brightest (yet humble)
stars at Gartner. He knows what he is talking about when it comes to
“strategy”. He is diligent in his work in an area that has a lot of fluff.

  3. Success for Managers is: Respect. To be paid to think, not just to comply.
    To be trusted.

A winning strategy not only involves theories; it is a collective attitude
followed through by all. To wit, winning strategies are but strategies —
the only difference lies on the trust, communication, respect and effort
    put forth by the collective.
